Why LiteSpeed instead of Apache or Nginx?
LiteSpeed serves WordPress faster than a stock Apache configuration and pairs with LSCache, its own full-page cache, for a very low TTFB. It reads Apache-style rewrite rules, so your existing WordPress setup works without changes. Nginx can be fast too, but it has no equivalent built-in WordPress cache that matches LSCache out of the box.
Can I migrate my existing WordPress site over?
Yes. You get full root and WP-CLI, so you can move a site with a migration plugin, restore a backup, or import the files and database directly. If you need a hand, open a ticket and our team can guide the migration.
Is SSL included?
Yes. Free SSL certificates are available and renew automatically, so every site can run on HTTPS at no extra cost.
How does the caching work?
LSCache runs inside the LiteSpeed web server and stores full pages as static cache. The LiteSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress controls it from your dashboard, including page cache, object cache, and image and CSS optimization.
Does it handle WooCommerce well?
Yes. With dedicated CPU, RAM and NVMe plus LiteSpeed's handling of dynamic, logged-in traffic, WooCommerce cart and checkout stay responsive under load. LSCache understands WooCommerce and keeps carts and checkout uncached while still caching your catalog.
Do I get full root access?
Yes. You have full root over SSH to tune PHP limits, add PHP versions, install extensions, add sites and manage the whole stack however you need.
Are backups included?
Snapshots and backups are available so you can restore whenever you need to. We still recommend keeping your own off-server backups of anything important, on a regular schedule.
How do payment and billing cycles work?
Billing is monthly and PayPal is accepted. There is no long-term contract, so you renew or cancel whenever you want.
